Machine Pitch Registration and Information

Kids ages 8-10 years old (as of April 26, 2021) are invited to participate in coach pitch through the City of Corcoran Parks and Recreation department. The program takes place up to twice a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at City Park (20200 County Road 50 | Corcoran, MN 55340), Hanover Elementary School (274 Labeaux Avenue | Hanover, MN), and Greenfield Park (7200 Greenfield Road | Greenfield, MN) beginning the week of April 19 and running as late as the week of June 21 depending on rain make-up dates. The ball is thrown using a machine operated by the coaches for a safe, consistent pitch. Teams will have games against Corcoran Parks and Recreation teams as well as Hanover and Rockford Association teams. A jamboree will also take place at towards the end of the season against Corcoran, Hanover, and Rockford teams.

Participants will be provided with a team shirt, pants, and hat. They should also bring a water bottle, baseball glove, and are encouraged to use their own bat and helmet to limit the sharing of equipment due to COVID-19.

The cost of the program is $75 for Corcoran residents and $80 for non-residents.

Volunteer coaches are needed for each team. Coaches will receive a registration refund at the end of the season for each team coached. A virtual coaches meeting will be hosted on Saturday, April 17 at 8:00 am.

Deadline to register for the spring baseball season was Sunday, February 28 and registrations can no longer be accepted.
